Dates may change due to unforeseen circumstances. Changes will be announced, and it is the responsibility of the student to keep informed.
Note that all students must take the Precalculus Mathematics Readiness Test by January 23 unless they passed MATH 100, are repeating this course, or passed the MSUPT. This includes visiting and transfer students. The test is given in Morehead Hall 139 (973-655-4476), where there is also free tutoring available.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

Tests (February 12, March 8, April 12), final exam (May 3), homework every other week or so.
Your course grade is composed of 20% class participation (includes quizzes) and homework, 20% for each of 3 tests, and 20% final exam. The test questions will be short answer, problem, and essay.
Homework problems should be done together, but written up in your own words. The lowest quiz grade will be dropped. There will be no makeups for quizzes. If you miss a test call me within 24 hours to explain why.
