Financial Aid

More than 80% of full-time PhD students are supported by graduate assistantships, valued at $15,000 per academic year. These assistantships, which include full tuition waivers and health benefits, are available on a competitive basis for full-time PhD students. Applications for assistantships are included in the application packet.

In addition, several kinds of financial aid (e.g., fellowships, scholarships, departmental teaching assistanships) are available to the graduate students who meet all admission requirements (see Graduate Financial Aid).
