Stefanie Brachfield & Sandra Passchier both participate in the ANDRILL program (Antarctic Drilling Progam with drilling seasons Fall 2006 and 2007).

ANDRILL is the latest geological drilling program in an ongoing effort to recover statigraphic records from the Antarctic region. The program's primary objectives are to investigate Antarctica's role in global environmental change over the past 65 million years. ANDRILL currently represents over 150 scientists from Germany, Italy, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
